Women's & Men's Pelvic Health

Do you find yourself avoiding activities outside the home due to fear of bladder leaks? Do you constantly worry about making it to the restroom on time? Do you avoid intimate moments due to fear of pain or lack of sexual response? Physical Therapy may be able to help. Our Women’s/Men’s Health Physical Therapist specialists are experts in identifying and treating musculoskeletal causes for pelvic pain, bladder or bowel incontinence, pregnancy-related and postpartum issues, difficulties after prostate surgery, and more.

If you have trouble with normal activities due to bothersome incontinence or discomfort in the pelvis, groin, or lower back, you may benefit from a specialized evaluation of your pelvic floor muscles. Your evaluation and treatment will take place in a private treatment room by a compassionate, highly-trained therapist. Treatment is individualized according to your needs and preferences, and may consist of hands-on pelvic floor muscle retraining, biofeedback, special exercises to strengthen or relax the pelvic floor muscles, and education for
self-treatment at home.
